Loose hinge, huh? How so, opening and closing, or side to side?

    That's a bit troubling.

How does it feel otherwise? Solid? Heavy?

Do you think you got a dud, or do you think it's a design flaw?

How do you know the RF is not better then the RAZR? I'm just curious as to what the test was to come to this conclusion.

    Thanks,

So, it has that Black Q feel? That's a nice finish.

Does the hinge feel loose closed?

Did you try pressing gently on the camera button to get it to focus before taking the picture? I remember reading that you need to press slightly on the button and give it a second to focus and then press all the way to take the picture. This is how my digital camera works.

Edit: Just checked the user manual. On page 34, it has the following instructions.

    1) When you are ready to take a photo, press the two-stage shutter release halfway to activate the auto focus feature. While the lens is focusing, the focus bracket flashes in the viewfinder window. When focus is locked, the bracket stops flashing and turns green, and your phone plays a tone.
    2) Take the photo by fully pressing the two-stage shutter release.

No offense Fucco but the 215 minute talk time was posted yesterday when we had access to the specs on the testman website.

you have to press the camera button half way down, let it focus and then push down completely to take the pic. Just like a real digicam.

a990's does it on its own for some reason when you hit the button.

Have you tried to access the files (transflash, music, pics) via bluetooth or usb yet?

How about syncing with Outlook (contacts, calender)?

Curious to see if you need special software or tweaks.

If you have a USB cable (like a camera's), and connect to your laptop, you should be prompted for a driver (if it's not already installed).

After that, it may show up as another drive or device in My Computer. If you open that up, you may find your folders (music, pics, sd card).

If they show, you should be able to move files back and forth.

    Try it?

    1. is there a setting to make the clock on the outer screen larger?
    2. Are the display themes Default, Business, Tropical and Blue or are there other options?
    3. How is the menu speed?
