I Guess Im the First here with the phone

I got the LG VX9400 IN MY HANDS
Hey guys I went to a store in my area yesterday to return my samsung sch-u740 and when I returned it I got them to order me the lg vx9400 and I got it today through fedex.

The price I got it for was 249.99 - my ne2 so 149.99 but they also gave me a 100.00 credit on the account so I got it for 49.00 pluss tax.

    The price "should" have been
    $249 - $100 NE2 = $149 (+tax) paid in store.
Then you will out the $50 mail-in-rebate.
So the final price would be $100.

I'm not sure why they gave you another $100 off.
    Did they say why?

You should stop back after the 23rd and get the $50 rebate form and send it in.

Do you have backup assistant and VZ Navigator under Getitnow on your VX9400?
-I don't know who u are, I don't know what u want. If u are looking for a ransom, I can tell u I don't have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills that I have acquired over the course of watching Chuck Norris in Walker, Texas Ranger, skills that make me a nightmare for people like u.

Update to tv service and bitpim

Ok here is a update to the tv service, now in my area we dont have tv service but, in Los angeles I picked up the service pretty much everywhere, someone else has mentiontend this also. I then drove on the 15 frwy home and I found reception as I was on the freeway in the following areas Mira Loma, ontario, rancho cucamonga, riverside, san bernardino, In these areas I was able to pick up the service, Now on the screen there is a little tv icon when there is no service youll see a x in the tv, where there is service you will see a box inside the tv.

I tried bitpim and the phone tells me it is locked by the provider, so far its a no go on that.

They probably did something similar as they did with the new LG VX8500 firmware versions, although it seems there are ways to work around that, as mentioned at http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?p=8887040, which might in some way apply in this case.
