    Who's getting the Meizu M8

According to forum posts by Meizu CEO Mr. Wong, the Meizu M8 will come in two versions. An entry-level version without camera and a standard version.

Preliminary pricing will be as follows:
    M8 Entry Model: 1499 CNY for 4GB, 2199 CNY for 8GB
    M8 Standard: 2380 CNY for 4GB, 3080 CNY for 8GB
The pricing in USD approximates to $195, $285, $310 and $400 respectively.

It is said that buyers of the Entry Model will later be able to separately buy a camera add-on for full functionality.

Finally, Meizu's miniOne is now confirmed to have a 720x480 16-bit 3.32-inch display

The price looks pretty sweet to mee $$ 195 4gb version with no camera

Does anybody knows what version of windows mobile this is running?? it doesn't look like it using windows mobile 6

If they offer a 720x480 res phone for $195 (before contract?) then they don't really need to mimic the iphone - change the colors and UI a bit and sell it. If it's durable enough lots of people would buy it.
Looking for my next new phone...

It looks like they've updated the specs on the phone. If it has everything they list there for that price I'm more than willing to deal with CE Screen is nice. Please be quad band!

The MiniOne is a GSM+EDGE+WCDMA cellphone using Windows CE 6 and equipped with an ARM11 533MHZ (SamSung) processor sporting 128MB of DDR SDRAM !
It features a TFT Touch Screen (16M colors) with a nice 720x480 resolution and 2 cameras (front 0.3Mpix/rear 3Mpix).
Other goodies include BlueTooth, Wifi, DMB Tuner, GPS, video output (last 2 in option), files such as Avi, Mpeg4 and Wmv can be played in 720x480. Last but not least the capacity goes from 4 ( to 16GB and the price from 190 (240) to 330€, that is from 260 (325) to 450$.

Well there's speculation over who exactly is mimicking who. There are reports that this device was on the drawing board before iPhone ever was.

Also, if you read up on the device, it may not even include a phone, it might just be a pmp with a nice big screen and PDA functionality..

so lets cross our fingers that this gets released to be used for GSM networks in north america!

    BEFORE

    AFTER

Very subtle changes to get away from the whole "stealing iphone" alligations.
