Not directly on there website. There is a procedure you follow to get the $45 t/t 1gb plan. Told these guys on the plan to get administration to get a sticky on it. I guess it isn't that important to them.
    done.

If you are a current GoPhone customer, dial 611 and select Change Your Plan, there is an available option for this Wal Mart $45 plan.

    That was easy.

    Thanks to scooter55.

You won't get an answer from cmodeal, because that user has been kicked out of the forum for spamming.

I thought the whole point of a sticky is to have the summary of all plan options available for quick reference, as opposed to 24 pages of stuff to wade through.

Is it possible for that first message to be kept current?

Or else make this just another thread. . .

I noticed ATT dropped the 10c/min plan for a 25c/min plan, that's quite an increase.

Well they have succeeded at least for me.

Too many MVNO's out there with less expensive rates for talk.
10˘ a minute isn't too bad for an almost never used phone but 25˘ a minute I wouldn't even bother with.

I think it was 25˘ a minute when I first tried GoPhone years ago when I bought a GoPhone that came with $25 in airtime.

When I used up the balance I didn't bother keeping the service going. The service wasn't that good to begin with and far too expensive.

The phone was free after rebate so it wasn't an expensive experiment.

When the prepaid plans come out with changes, how good is att with letting customers keep their grandfathered prepaid plans? And is there even such a thing as grandfathered prepaid plans like there is with postpaid?

They treated me like crap. This was four or five years ago. I had a prepaid plan that I liked. I had a balance and I was told that the plan will no longer be available. They gave me choices that were far more expensive, so I had to bail and leave some money behind. By contrast, I have seen other carriers, like T-Mobile, grandfather their customers when there is a change. Personally, I consider AT&T to be lower than whale poop, which is at the bottom of the sea.

I'm sure AT&T fears losing postpaid customers to GoPhone. Since AT&T doesn't advertise GoPhone very much, certainly not compared to Cricket, if the plans had higher data limits I think it likely they'd add more former T-Mobile and Sprint customers than they'd "lose" to GoPhone. People switching from Cricket to GoPhone is also possible, but like I said I'd bet most Cricket customers don't even know what GoPhone is.
