How about a flex to make it work for GSM 850?

This is the best phone ever! Now only if someone out there made a P2K program to access its files!

I wish this phone was coming to the states for a GSM Carrier or at least quad band unlocked. But only time (a long time) will tell. I would purchase it tri band using T Mobile. Clarification: T mobile doesnt roam on cingular's or anyone elses 850 band since they dont use it right? So if i was to use a tri band phone with T Mobile it would only use the 1900 band. But if i was to use a tri band phone on Cingular, there would be no service at all when I am in a 850 band area? And what is this that cingular will be doing away with its 1900 band for something else?

What are peoples opinions of the Krzr k1? worth getting? How about the V3x?

    Another Question

Using a tri band phone, what services would or would not work on T Mobile's or Cingular's service?

This phone should be coming to the USA (most likely Cingular) because it has 850MHz UMTS. darn Tmobile!

Any further information or rumblings regarding the Verizon CDMA version?
I'm worried that the universe will soon need replacing. It's not holding a charge.

I keep reading in random places that due to the 850 UMTS (on the model that Telstra is selling) that this phone will work fine on Cingular in the US.

    Any truth to this?

So far dude YOUR the man on this phone Pioneer.

Could you at least answer a few questions posted above or like on the GUI. Post a REVIEW man please! Formal and informative. This will get those lazy creative bunch to get off the E2's jock and onto this phone.

its very similar, about the p2k programs i installed a whole bunch of java appz that read the phone one gave a "RSA Error" im thinking motorola got smart and blocked reading the file

the phone will work on cingulars UMTS 850 network, this is the same one Telstra's Next G networks runs on.

i prefer this phone over my k1 and v3x.

Which, judging by that URL you provided - means that this phone will get voice reception in only 3G areas within the US (to my disappointment).

Can some Cingular folks confirm that Cingular's GSM network is seemingly almost completely 850?

I was hoping between the UMTS 850 and the GSM 1900, this phone would be pretty much viable in the US.

Well it if more towards like the linux side.. like the E2 and A1200... Then try hacking it like those phones. Hack the .system folder of your memory card in order to access system files.
