yea I am still hanging around thought I would never be on the IPhone but have been using it for quite a while. I look forward to something that challenges Android and Apple but its looks gloomy. I have had all the different os out there. It's sad to see windows say goodbye to their mobile platform again hopefully they will release a device that has full capable computer options but simply is a mobile device. I too had hope for the Surface Phone will we ever see it thought. I am tired of throwing money at their devices only for them to be discontinued down the road. but who knows I know one thing the ol days were more interesting even with less technology the improvising was there

I've climbed a cellphone tower
Windows Mobile was my first smartphone platform. Been using smartphones before the iPhone was even announced. Lots of great memories on Windows Mobile and specifically HTC. People looked at me like I was crazy for using a brick as a phone instead of a flip at the time.

I tell you especially during these times I miss those days my friend. Man there seems like there is not a phone out their that really wows me or takes it to the next level. I miss the XDA Flame Concepts that were the next new best thing coming or out there. I miss being able to switch from the different platforms to the other platforms. Right now I am on Iphone and I only have Android to play with when I am testing different roms and staying on top of the different platforms. I miss the innovation damnit

I miss the days of the HTC Athena x7510 and I too will be looking at the Fold 3 these days. I mean it seems to be the best out there as of right now. I miss the HTC Days of triumph though. Its a s shame they haven't had a true flagship device lately

Last Htc I had was a HD2 I bought on Swappa for next to nothing. I was going to put Android on it. I changed my mind and sent it overseas. I always wanted Sensation when I was on TMobile. I did get a Nexus One but the storage space was so small.

Sensation was an overheating mess. I hated that phone. Slower SoC than the Tegra in the G2x it was replacing and it shut down every time I used my GPS. Found that out the hard way when I was in the middle of nowhere, Louisiana with no signal because I had T-Mobile in AT&T country and the phone was navigating and just rebooted itself. Same thing happened in Kansas, also middle of nowhere, earlier in the same road trip. It was also a pain in the backside with the whole using a paper clip to get S-OFF on it.
I will at least give it points for not turning into a brick shortly after I got it like the G2x did but it was the worst HTC I ever owned.

Happy holidays! I too, picked up a Fold 3. Loving it. I wanted the silver version, but ended up getting black, as it's the only colour with 512gb in Canada.
