Very strange that the account went straight to "closed". They normally go into "expired" status for 30 days before closing.

Do you track your account through redpocket.com? If so the number should show up there. I just did a test run with Verizon & the account stayed open for 30 days after the month I paid for had expired.

The Link-to-Cell system won't have the sound quality of a dedicated wireless phone set-up, but likely not a deal breaker for most.

Can you still get that plan? I was going to put my mom on the talk/text plan, but seems to be gone now.

FWIW, my Moto phones have trouble connecting to some Comcast/Xfinity routers. The Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspot always seems to work, but can't login to the addresses that require a password.

Yep, we had a few 4 to 5 million watt UHF stations back in the analog days. Now they are limited to a mere 1 million watts.

I find it so insane that Nimbys worry about emissions from cell towers...

Yes rebooted and tried airplane mode. In the past when there is no data the LTE indicator lights up with an x through it.

Do you have another Page Plus phone you can put that SIM card in? If so put it in that phone and activate call forwarding.Then put it back in your daily driver & CCF should work.

Unfortunately better band support doesn't necessarily mean better edge of cell performance. The radio in the band starved Moto E4 Plus easily outperforms the POS Moto G6 Play.

Yes, the 5 GB plan was on sale for ~$200.00 around Thanksgiving. E-Bay also had a one day promotion the day before Thanksgiving that brought the price down to ~$185.00.

Yep band 12/17 are a must for decent ATT coverage. You also have to make sure those international phones come with a manufacturers warranty. A lot of them on Amazon don't have a warranty.
