Actually, this is what the T-mobile representative told me as well. I was kind of surprised to hear this, as I always thought that once the phone is paid off it should not be related to previous...
I totally understand about this. But here is the funny part.
Last Saturday before I purchased this phone, I specifically asked the seller to give me the IMEI number, and both Swappa and T-mobile...
I've purchased a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus from eBay and was shown the proof that the phone has been all paid off(a receipt). Swappa shows that the phone is clean; however, T-mobile's own online IMEI...
If you need any of my reference(I haven't sold anything on Howardforum.com for quite a while), please go to EBAY and search for user "djen0803" instead.
This is an UNLOCKED (which means you can...
I've already set the volume to be 5...still ain't too loud
any *#8999*TEST# trick to do?:)
actually, a reflash on the TFS again seems to be ok...complete everything within an hour. The phone seems to be able to make call fine...but the ringtone volume is a bit too small when comparing to...
Now I'm trying to flash my T809 to D820...
Starting time is around 2:00PM Pacific...and now it is 5:04PM, and is still flashing the TFS file... Bin is complete, but the TFS has been sitting there...

Didn't seem to find any problem so far...
Thanks...unfortunately, that Tmobile is still there...:(
Any other suggestion?
Just got a 6230i and love this phone(why can't Nokia make a QuadBand 8890, 6230, or heck, 8800 series....:P).
Still, got the same old problem...went to jhonny.org/wap and downloaded the blank...
I'm just more concerned that Cingular will eventually pass their GSM1900 to Tmobile in southern CA(or more areas, I assume?)...Unless the cross-roaming contract is continued, I have to switch to...
only 310-380 is available in my hometown area...no 310-170...so my phone really has no choice.
HDW-3...well, voice quality is ok...but a bit slippery as well. Volume is slightly louder than HS810, but then again, no match to 510.
Just got my own 510 yesterday...before this, I've tried HS810 and HDW-3.
I guess I like the design that sticks the speaker into my ear channel a little bit...since I'm slightly hearing-impaired,...
sold a V3 and V60i...smooth transaction...highly recommended.:)
I'm using a Nokia 6230 now...and the volume is loud(especially the earpiece's volume).
I used a 3595 before...and it's very loud...but harsh, too.
V3's volume...it's good, and if you hit the...
if you don't mind harsh voice(sometimes) and side-tone(almost all the time), then Nokia 3595 or 6010 is a good choice for under $30.
Trade a T637 to him for a V600. Excellent dealer; highly recommended.
So TMobile will acquire the GSM1900 frequency in the future around Western/Coastal Regions...
Well, I live in southern CA, Los Angeles area...and at my work(Walnut, CA), both AT&T and Cingular(I...
that's the major reason why I switch to Cingular several years ago(since 2000, I believe)...
AT&T TDMA, SprintPCS, Verizon, and NexTEL all go dead in my house...only Cingular(at that time PacBell)...
Well, when I recommend my friends cellphones(plus service providers), I always tell them to check out the reception in the area they freqently would be in...not just by how fancy the phone is or how...
I work in southern CA(Walnut, to be precisely)...and both AT&T and Cingular are using GSM1900 frequency(I use the network search function on my P280, and both shows up)...
So that stirs up a...
purchased a SIemens CT66 from him...smooth transaction...highly recommended...:)
I've tried a C207 for couple days...
Reception seems to be "okay". But earphone volume is definitely good enough(and I'm slightly hearing-defect). Ringtone is okay. But the volume on the...
