Once again, had you included the rest of what I said, you'd see I was just simply saying to the OP to just try it. Now if you wanna get nit-picky.. that's fine.. as clearly you're just bored at home....

Once again, had you included the rest of what I said, you'd see I was just simply saying to the OP to just try it. Now if you wanna get nit-picky.. that's fine.. as clearly you're just bored at home....
Mmmhmm, thanks for selectively quoting ;)
Had you quoted the rest it'd be clear that's not the point as I was getting at.. I was more of a "you don't really have much to loose, so do it" statement.
Never said i "hated" Verizon.. They were actually quite good to me when I worked there. I just said I cannot wait for the management to finally come to the realization and a harsh reality to settle...
That's Verizon's fault for sitting on their thumbs and not buying more spectrum. They were absolutely arrogant about their network "quality" for far too long, and did not buy Metro, Cricket, WCS when...
Well.. Verizon is all LTE at this point, and does everything they can to keep everyone off CDMA.
That's not an issue anymore of the GSM vs CDMA thing ;) most modern phones support both networks...
As someone who lives in Ohio also.. You'll be fine without B71. T-Mobile is fairly robust here with B12, and B71 LTE is only a 5MHz chunk so does not add *that* much value other than an occasional...
Why does it bother you so much for people to keep it? I have two on a sub account i'll give up only when they pry it from me... then my also $200/mo for two lines also goes with it ;)
I should have kept that unlimited tethering for $25 when I could have gotten it. I do regret not getting that.
It does have that stipulation, and when I chat with them they always seem amazed like they know nothing about the plan.
Before when Unlimited/More Premium came out, there was a page on AT&T's...
It was if you swapped to AT&T unlimited from another carrier, you got up to 100Mbps free.
So right now, my DSL shows as $0 for 100/20
...
I'm on unlimited + more premium currently with two phones.. the new plan is the same price but higher depri point AND 30GB hotspot included.
Has anyone with this promo swapped to the new plan yet...
Yeah.. all of my group messaging is ever done in an app or iMessage, although I only regularly talk to two android users.
Last month on my statement I used 14 SMS/MMS haha
Verizon extended the CDMA shutoff another year, so you have until the end of 2020 to worry about it.
BUT you should be able to get a VoLTE enabled Verizon-branded flip phone and just do a swap...
Around Columbus T-Mobile is a lot better overall as well. I only keep the AT&T due to me actually using the linear TV and having that $0 "for life" 100/20 VDSL2 line bundled in with it.
I do still...
I would not know about MMS, as 99.9% of people I know use iMessage or something like Telegram/WhatsApp. I do not know one android person who uses SMS/MMS to be honest.
And i'm wondering if this is...
I've never once had the issues you've mentioned.
If the Cellular is strong enough to handle the call.. VoLTE just takes it over, and if WiFi is better.... my iPhone chooses that. Not once have I...
Really? AT&T i see speeds like that all the time, and even Verizon in Chicago
"You can also choose to add a mobile hotspot for $10 a line, per month1. And since you clearly love your device, consider protecting it from loss, theft, accidental damage and more with Cricket...
So what I’m wanting to know is about the hotspot limit. I may just activate a line to see
If I can get 15GB+ of hotspot for $50 it maybe worth using
As someone who travels for a living and has AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon..
AT&T is VERY inconsistent indoors, AND only started to become "kinda" good after getting all that FirstNet money. I still...
I'm curious as to how you propose they're capable of faster? T-Mobile generally has more AWS available, plus the massive amount of Band 71, and considering AT&T still has never completed covering...
On Verizon i can tell as soon as I hit 22GB, as it struggles to even load pages at times.
AT&T on the other hand, i'm regular 50-75GB due to streaming and can hardly if ever tell a difference.
I suggest also helping them with proper AP placement.
People love to place them in odd spots where they cannot be seen, then wonder why they do not work correctly.
At the family thanksgiving...
I've used WiFi Calling on my iPhone SE, 6+, 8+ XS Max, 11ProMax
in fact, with WiFi calling on I actually get *better* battery life as it's handing the base signaling off to the local WiFi AP with...
I have zero noticeable battery drain when using WiFi calling, Just turn it on and see what it does. I'll bet it makes it usable and she will be fine going forward with that.
