Thanks for your post, made it very easy to overclock my N900 :)
So far, I am really enjoying it. Especially video playback and scrolling on webpages is much smoother now. What I did notice though is...
I own a N900 and like it, but have to agree on a lot sr1329 says. Nokia doesn't seem to have a clear strategy, or if they have they can't seem to do anything with it.
The N900 is supposed to be...
Biggest things I like
- It's fast:: none of the Symbian lag
- Great webbrowser
- Multitasking capabilities
Things I don't like
- Battery: not that bad but defitinely not great
- Placing of...
Typing SMS in portrait mode is not possible on the N900 :(
That really is a bummer for me, as I often send a quick SMS when I have only one hand available for instance when walking my dog.
"SMS...
After seeing the videos on Youtube I'm still wondering whether or not SMS can be typed in portrait mode.
The people in the videos only use the device in landscape mode, but often when I'm walking...
Oh man, the no-MMS thing definitely sucks.
Another thing is that Nokia doesn't seem to include a USB cable in the box. My 5800 has it, but why wouldn't they include it with the N900 as well ...
Somethings is wrong with your slide. Mine always locks and unlocks the first time.
Hell yeah :clapping:
My 6681 (ooh, blue) is still going strong after 2+ years. Never had a problem with it. Dropped it tons of times and opened a lot of beer bottles with it, it's still in one...
Have you tried this?
Nice car, the left one that is. Took the picture while riding my bike so it's not that clear.

I'm using 3.02.
Wel the trial version works fine on my 6681...
That's because it's a normal phone, not a smartphone. And this topic is about the best Nokia phone, not about what you think about SE/Motorola phones.
Aren't there any plans on an upcoming s60?
Your BT dongle might have a range of 100 meters, but most probably your other devices only have a ~10 meter range.
Definitely 668x, it has all the features + looks + 850 if you need it.
Now only if it had a 2MP cam (ore more) + some more RAM, it would be the perfect phone for me:)
There seem to be a lot of problems with the X guy lately, check the SE forums.
Sure it's definitely better, no question about it but to me it's not much of an upgrade feature-wise.
I agree that buying a 6680 if you already own a 6620 isn't really worth the money.
I do think that the 6680's cam is really good considering it's 1.3MP, if you look at the 'S60 picture of the day'...
But the screen is not larger than an S60's screen:)
The K750 is a very nice phone indeed. I went for the 6681 instead of a K750, but they're both very nice phones imho.
The 6230i is not a bad phone, but if I want a phone which I can use usefull apps...
I've played around with it for a little while, but definitely prefer my series 60 6681.
The 6230i's screen is just too small if you want to do anything else with it than just calling or sending a...
I think this is a nice comparison between the different colors.
You can just search google for 'john.wav' or whatever your name is and set it as your ringtone, but that's not really a ringtone is it.
The menu looks nice, but the phones themselves don't look half as good as the 668x/N70/N90/N91 imho.
I still don't get why they don't make all of their new phones (at least the more expensive ones)...
