That might be an issue due to the firmware on the handset. Did you buy it from T-Mobile? Chances are that you may have a branded handset with T-Mobile firmware on it.
You're welcome,
What code worked for you?
Correct, incoming calls aren't free when you roam outside of the Netherlands.
You can consider a solution such as a GSM/CDMA handset (i.e. Samsung A790) and then keep your US number that way. Using a GSM/CDMA handset will allow you to use a SIM card in France but is very...
Free incoming calls apply to most Western European countries and that applies to any part of your SIM card's home country. Once you cross the border or roam on any other international network, then...
Hi there,
as far as I know there is no full reset code for the newer Series 40 handsets. That includes the 6270. The only codes I know of are in my Series 40/60 Reset Codes thread.
*#7780# is...
Will do so, thanks.
You can buy any prepaid or contract SIM card of your choice. The SIM will most likely have a local number from the area where the store or dealer are located. If you're asking about whether it...

Welcome to HoFo by the way!!
It's not cheap, it would make sense to get it if you plan on flashing more than 1 phone. It goes for €250 (Euros) here in Germany.
Then perhaps we should consider making the HTC forum a subforum of the PPC forum. After all, you have a lot of HTC-oriented threads in that portion of HoFo.
Are you asking about the T-Mobile MDA made for T-Mobile US? HTC has made several MDA models released by T-Mobile in a number of countries.
If anything either lgreenberg or one of the Mod HF moderators will take charge in here. I'd like to see a sticky with some kind of discussion guidelines for this forum since the mere subject of HTC...
It sure sounds like a strange problem. You might consider taking it to a shop or Nokia dealer to have it looked at.
See my previous post...;)
Rob,
sure sounds like a startup problem. Have you tried another SIM?
No problem :)
T-Mobile doesn't have a network in France. You'll find SFR (Vodafone), Orange and Bouygues there as the established networks. Have a look here for more info:
