LOL why wait for rogers to release an official update? even if they release one it will be the same froyo and by that time, gingerbread and/or ice cream should be out... froyo came out with a couple...
no need to root.. I did it to my streak a couple of days ago.. whatu do is search QDL TOOL xda forums or streakdroid and it will install froyo for you!
