but i thought it'd be a different message than "phone restricted". sounds more like the sim is rejecting the phone than vice versa

it comes up with "phone restricted" asking for a "restriction code"
but i think it did the same thing when plugged into another unlocked handset

is their some menu that i can pull up to verify. ...

So my phone bricked a while ago. Dead Flashed it. Everything is fine now, i can still use the phone perfectly.

However, does this mean the phone is now unlocked? or is it still sim-locked to...
