• Google the MVNO? (Updated)

Google has announced that it is in operation in Spain as a MVNO or mobile virtual network operator. Google bought up a bunch of bulk network capacity from existing carriers and then handed the SIMs out to employees for testing. That testing was down with the Nexus S handset and apparently each of the cards accesses one of three various carriers including Orange, Movistar, and Vodafone.

Google wants to know everything about everything and every one. No thanks. LOL. Now they will be recording your calls, voice mails, text messages and then sharing them with everyone else.

Yeah, that's why I add question marks to stuff like this. Sounded pretty unusual for Google, though it was good fodder for discussion.

This hoax makes me wonder if people really think that google, or even apple, would become a mvno or go one step further.

With Google, who knows? They seem to want to get their hands into everything.
