• Thread of The Week, Round 211

It's time for a new thread of the week, our way of recognizing forum members for promoting valuable discussion here.

Every weekday yours truly posts a morning briefing, including the most popular forum thread—that is, the post with the most replies—for the previous 24 hour period. For reference, here are the daily threads for the past seven days:

MVNO News - TF down to 19+ Million Customers
Kyocera Duraforce Pro 2 E 6920 sounds warbly.
How to find out how long you have been with TF
    Unable to Activate Tracfones

Note that the Monday briefing considers forum posts from the weekend prior, so nobody misses out.

And so, with 40 replies the most popular thread started last week is:

Kyocera Duraforce Pro 2 E 6920 sounds warbly.

Congrats to BM Mann for starting our two hundred and eleventh thread of the week! As a small token of our appreciation, please enjoy a monthlong Premium Membership on us. Thanks. I hadn't opened it because I didn't need to use it, so I didn't know there was more than one card in there. It's the 2-card version (TFATKTM2SIMNA1).

The month by month refills are stupid pricey anyway.

Get an annual bundle deal from HSN QVC or TF's eBay store, much cheaper even if you toss the phone after transferring the service time / buckets

Which RF bands are active is primarily a function of the hardware, but in some models the ROM image can be a factor. This does not change as the SIM or carrier does, other than the CSC issue above

    Thanks!
