Many have an absolute ban on ever touching that company's products.

May be a principled, rational decision going back decades, or just based on their high pricing, or a reaction to society's judgments based on classism.

Im picking up one of the new pro max models soon. I will get it from an Apple store that is a reasonable distance away. There are lots of stores so hopefully one of them will have the specific one I want ready for me in a reasonable time frame.
