Thanks for posting. I am happy to see that Corning finally shipped a flexible glass product. They were interviewed on flexible displays when the Galaxy Fold was about to come out, leading me to predict that anything shipped without folding glass would fail in the market.

Now to see how the first generation of folding glass products fare. I'm still skeptical that they will offer better customer satisfaction than carrying a conventional phone all of the time plus a less expensive tablet some of the time, when needed.

Only plastic screens can be flexible. If you can bend and flex it, then it is not really glass... It's plastic.

Samsung is misleading everyone by calling it flexible glass. The Z Flip screen can be scratched up if you rub your fingernail back and forth with pressure.

They're using a new harder plastic polymer but it's certainly not glass. Glass cannot be scratched up with your fingernails.

He does exactly that in the video above, with no scratch resulting.

Oh, wait... no, you're right. Get someone who isn't afraid of losing press access and it scratches up just fine.

Now they are saying it indeed is glass with a layer of plastic on top of it. This is all deceptive marketing.

The glass screen isn't from Corning. I believe it's from SCHOTT. I think Corning is still working to get their Ultra Thin Glass commercially viable.

They're right. The agreement is meaningless. All TMobile has to do is raise the depo limit, give you more hotspot and call it a day. They met their requirements and can charge more. There was no way...

That's interesting that you got that working on the one iPhone SE. Is that a Tracfone branded phone? I recall you had an issue with those phones... I wonder if when fixing it they activated Wi-Fi...
