• Telus Scores Another Win from OpenSignal

I know, everyone uses Speedtest (and thanks to peer pressure, I do as well) but it's worth mentioning that Telus has also been crowned Canada's best carrier in OpenSignal's August, 2019 Mobile Network Experience Report for Canada. That's certainly a mouthful.

Nationwide Telus came out on top in four out of five categories:

If you're shopping for a new carrier in any of the above markets, hopefully OpenSignal's results will be instructive. Be sure to check the source immediately below to verify what I've copied and pasted above.

Given the number of 2 and 3 way ties in this listing, I would wager the differences are slight enough that in most circumstances you wouldn't even notice the difference unless you were comparing side-by-side.

Yeah, agree with turbogeek. All 3 have great networks, especially in urban areas.

The fact that Telus shows 1.5% higher availability than Bell for 4G, makes me very skeptical of these results.

Like was mentioned, the Area Code + 7 digit number must be used. Places like medical centers usually use a VoIP phone system and they can be screwy.

    Hi,

I'm having the usual problems with Mint Mobile - missed calls going direct to voicemail and delayed texts.

If you were me, would you spend $125 on Tracfone's website to add 1 year and 1500 minutes to my existing J3 Luna Pro or spend $69.99 for an HSN J3 Orbit phone with 1 year of service and 1500 minutes?
