• Leaked: Moto G7

And the OnLeaks / MySmartPrice partnership continues... The G7 and G7 Plus won't come to market until early next year, but thanks to some leaked design details and the magic of CAD software they're providing an early peek at the smaller of the two phones. The renders match up with a purported photo of the G7 published by XDA last summer. Waterdrop notches are going to be a thing, apparently...

Confirmed specs for the G7 are as follows:

    6 inch Full HD+ 18:9 screen
    Unconfirmed octa-core processor
4 GB of RAM / 64 GB storage
    16 MP + 5 MP dual rear-facing cameras
    12 MP selfie cam
    3,500 mAh battery
    Headphone jack (!)
    Android 9.0 Pie

What do you think? I'm not really digging the Moto logo on the front chin, but the camera assembly round back is rather Droid-esque... and in a good way!

I think I would have liked it a lot better if they had just shifted the screen down a few millimeters and eliminated the need for a notch. I personally do not like notches.

I prefer the finger print scanner on the front as it doubles as navigation instead of the on screen buttons.

Is it going to have T-Mobile band 71? The Moto G6 does not.
