Looks like a CDMA variant of the D830.

Or the Z620. That one's UMTS (I think) and the same thickness.

That's sleek, but it looks really long length-wise.

I am not at all fond of the plastic housing and the silver color. I am also not fond of the front facia relative to the SGH-D830 Ultra Edition. It looks very nice opened, however.

D830 review. Nice color choices.

The phone has EVDO, based on the "Power Vision" icons on the display.

i like it, but as tolumne, the biggest Samsung fanboy we all know, pointed out in another thread the battery life might be very very small considering its thinner than the blade/RAZR Theres a point where thin is too thin when u sacrifice function. Imagine this thing having similar specs to th a900, but needing power to run a memory card slot, and a larger camera, so more processor work to store pics on a phone that is THINNER than the a900 by a good amount. So youre talking MORE power consumption on a and EQUAL/PROB LESS mah battery. The a900 is bottom border line of acceptable battery life, this thing might not even cut it- what theyre gonig to sell a pone with 2-2.5 hr talktime now?

This phone looks like fun.... hopefully, if Sprint really IS going to carry it, it gets some hardy advertising....

Eat your heart out RAZR.

I'll reserve judgement on looks. Like always, the first person taking pictures of it chose the worst angles.
