Official E815 tutorial thread + discussion

BTW: Sorry to beat a dead horse but this will be my definitive thread on this.

The Site - http://members.shaw.ca/Anemic_Royalty/

I have revamped and updated my Motorola E815 Tutorial. Before asking where to find things such as programs, games, skins, apps, and other stuff, check out my site. I didn't write much on MPT cuz well... You install it, plug it in and it works... lol, if a Bell user can't get MPT to work without help you don't belong on this forum (You all know it's true) Anyway, my site contains

EVERY PROGRAM you need to mod the E815
380 JAVA GAMES tested to be good and working from over 2200 (litteraly took months)
SKINS that I fixed from the HowardForums thread and linked backround and front LCDs to
APPLICATIONS Opera Mini and eMSN already packaged with a selector.utf with other apps. Already hex edited for automatic internet acsess
2771.0001.seem's A fun list of seems I made to replace Bell Mobility while your phone is open, includes many: Moto E815, MotoModder, §Hacked E815§, ect...

Information on:
A comprehensive and IMO the BEST SITE for links to DL programs.
Programs, Drviers, and Troubleshooting guides
Media (Pictures, ringtones, and videos)
Skins
Java guide
Application guide
Seem sections
Other Mods

Anyway I will not post again, just wanted this here for all our newbie friends. The site has recived almost 450 hits this week and I'm glad to see it's getting more every day. Good luck everyone.

This is cool - now someone needs to make one of these for the a920 - that testing takes time. Thanks for all the work.

I nominate this thread to be stickified!

P.S. Where's the seem section? It'd be nice to have a reference directory of all the seems and what does what.

I agree I think this needs to be sticky. Well you know I didn't make a seem section persay like Nuclearelephant I think his name is. but every seem of consequence is listed in the sections. Obex, passwords, LCD, everything I personally found of use was there. Keep in mind its not really a site for the 1337 hackers its more to get people started. However, do you think I should make a list like nuclear elephants? or even just make a section and give the link?

Well, even NuclearElephant's list is only partial. Their stuff is spread around similar to yours. I think it'd be nifty to have a master list with the seem location and bit and what it does when turned on or off.

That way, as people play around with it they could email you what they've discovered and add to the list. So for example, let's say someone has done some basic tinkering and wants to quickly locate their master code.

Then they just punch up the main list and search for master code and bam, they find it quickly. And for other things like OBEX and whatever. Like if people just want to cross-check their current seem with what's going on.

Yeah that sounds like a good plan. Well I'll make a section and take all the ones i know from around the net but it may not be much more than nuclear elephants. Maybe I'll search the froum a bit or make a thread about it...

Hi, I've used rumkin successfully downloaded and installed OperaMini on my E815. The application runs but could not connect to any website. It keeps complaining that access point is not correctly configured. Anybody has similar experience and any solution? thanx in advance.

I'm going to have a heart attack here. This guy had one post. If you need any reason on why this should be a sticky there it is.
