Playing Java Games using SD Card 903SH (Works for some 703SH too)

http://www.ima-mobile.com/phpBB2/vi...23db4931acc6dc8

This is fresh news from another forum. Apparently, the way to do it has been released.

0.5) Create a folder in your SD card under My Items called "Games and More"

1) turn off your phone
2) hold 8 + power to turn on
3) Wait until the screen looks like the first image in the thread
4) Hold on to the center directional button and press 6 to change the 2nd character to 1
5) Hold on to the center directional button and press 5 to change the 3rd character to 1
6) Hold on to the center directional button and press 4 to change the 4th character to 1
7) Hold on to the center directional button and press 3 to change the 5th character to 1
8) Hold on to the center directional button and press 2 to change the 6th character to 1
9) Hold on to the center directional button and press 1 to change the 7th character to 1
10) Hold on to the center directional button and press 0 to change the 8th character to 1

11) At this point, you should see the following:

62
011111111 00000000

(look at the 2nd screenshot in the thread)

12) Hold on to the power button to turn it off
13) Now power it back on
14) Game & Application -> Java Settings -> Synchronisation
15) Delete -> Yes
16) Now under the GSX Java Gallery, you should be able to select your SD card.

Enjoy

P5010.. I am not sure then.. Let's do a survey here and see what firmware works.

I have the A240 and I can see the SD memory card but I cannot see any games. I have tried with both HUF and JAD/JAR files. I think I might have the stolen ?? FW.. That's why. I have never been able to get JAVA to work on my phone.

People are saying that the files have to be in HUF format. Lamjack, do try it and see if that works.

I haven't been able to get to that APPLICATION INFORMATION screen using my 903 with Euro firmware. If anyone with Euro firmware can get to that screen, please let me know how you did it.

I have Euro fw and I got it to work with the 8+power on button. You have to make sure you're holding 8 first then power it on. Try it again and let us know. I know there's 2 differend Euro fw's now but mine says:
current version:1.046 (J500)

Since the Euro FW doesn't have the GSX Java Gallery option do you just go to the Games & Applications sections then?
