I understand this to be the cable that one can use to connect the V3c to a computer's USB port. I've found it at RadioShack ( http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...2032127.2032129 ), but the price seems a bit high to me. Surely other places sell this cable. Does Wal-Mart? Looking at Wal-Mart.com, I couldn't find it for sale, but perhaps they sell it in store? Thanks!
Thats less expensive than the one I got, but I had a BB gift card. Here is the one I have, and of course on sale. It also has the Gold plated contacts that make everything work as good as Gold.
Thank you all for your very helpful replies. Unfortunately, I don't own a digital camera or MiniDisc (although I wish I did! ). All I have around me are Wal-Marts, RadioShacks, Circuit Citys, and the occassional Best Buy. Yipperzz, $2.00 is what I would expect out of this cable, seeing as how it is a standard (USB) interface and all. That's why I'm hoping I can do better than the $17 at RadioShack, or the $26 at Best Buy. Unfortunately, no Fry's in my area. Its amazing just how hard it is to find this cable through conventional outlets. I suppose it is because it has the 5 pin Mini USB end to it, which isn't something you normally find on regular USB devices. Has anyone had any luck finding this at Wal-Mart in-store?

Seems someone mentioned finding it at Wal-Mart. Good luck.

I did... Wal-Mart by my parents (in PA) has a Belkin F3U138 for just under $15... it $14 and change... BUT the wal-mart near me (delaware) does NOT... and Walmart.com does not have it listed.
That is the cheapest I've found it "in-store" locally...
You can try KMart, Sears, Target, etc.. any other store that sell digital cameras... and see what they have...

axshop.com has REALLY cheap cables although the inventory is constantly changing. They have the headphone adapter for E815 for a few bucks. I got 4 or 5 and put them in my truck, computer bag, travel bag etc. One of the only shopping newsletters that I find some value in.
Wal-Mart. Sony PSP USB Data Cable PL-6033. 5 bucks!
D'OH! All this time I had heard people say that the Sony PSP Cable worked, but not once did I think about picking this up at Wal-Mart!
As far as me getting a cable though, my Wal-Mart didn't have any of the Belkin Mini USB cables that Mark Venture was talking about, but I found the next best thing: the "Gemini USB Universal Connector Set". It was $14 and some change, and includes an attachment for the 5 pin Mini B. It is also retractable. Only thing is, I bought it, and got to thinking that I just might have some attachments for 5 pin Mini B laying in a box in the attic. I found it, and it works flawlessly. So I'm taking the Universal Connector Set back. However, if someone is looking for a Mini B cable from Wal-Mart, I thoroughly recommend it. It comes with plenty of other useful connections as well.
