CONFIRMED: Windows Mobile + Treo (Video Inside)
Alright, Treo'ers...
Behold the magic of the LEGIT Windows Mobile Treo "670" (for lack of a better name). This is not mine, BTW. This is to reduce the "Slashdot effect" that is soon to follow.

Ok, now I have to chooose between this and the upcoming HTC Wizard...Great. If this works as well as my past Treos have, and has web browsing as good as any PPC phone should, I'm on board. Very, Very, Very good news!
I would like to see a better pic though...just in case this is another attempt at a mean hoax!

That's what I said...I love the l33t corporate monster that is Cingular and honors my $99 unlimited AT&T Charter plan ...
BUT
I'm not gonna switch over a phone. But still - simply amazing. Now, if they could only:
remove the SD card slot, the camera and added BlackBerry Connect [link] - this would seriously rock out with it's 1/2-inch antenna **** out.
I only say that because of work enviroment. But bring on the multimedia decadent WinMobile Treo's, baby!

Dude.
I would NOT buy the Treo 650 - basically, if you don't have it already, nah. Don't do it...
Coming up this year (and 2006):
new Blackberries
the iPaq running WinMobile w/ BB Connect
numerous flavors of new Treo's with different OS's
possibly a Linux smartphone or two
Motorola Q
and whatever Moto pulls out of their rectum
I'm going to barf. If this is acurate, and not someone just having the knowledge to **** with hardware/software that much, it WILL be the death of the Treo. One of the beauties of the Treo is the PalmOS. If this is true, I'm hoping that they make both windows and PalmOS versions. I just found my undying love for Treos, I'm not ready for it to end.

Doesn't this kinda defeat the purpose of a Treo? The Treo's have always been a Palm OS phone. If you take the Palm OS away from the Treo then it wouldn't be a Treo.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure Palm has the rights to the name "Treo" and if it was running Windows Mobile then it wouldn't be a Treo.
