Exclamation 5MP Casio Exilim C721 Pre-Release thread

New EXILIM phone coming to Verizon called NX9250.

Based on W53CA and has a little Verizon taste on it.

I wasn't sure if the html tag would work so I posted them on my blog.

http://kangrk.blogspot.com/2008/12/...to-verizon.html

here take a look.

Gross. Why do Casio phones look retarded?
I like the specs though. Let's see that screen and its user interface. It if it has VZW's red bars that's a deal breaker.

Yeah.. As it says 5.1MP in the picture.. and it obviously looks like a flip.

Maybe this

could give u a brief idea of how it would look in the inside. (with a little verizon taste of course.)

Yes Asian phones (Japanese phones to be precise) are bit long since they've got long screens like WQVGA, WVGA, etc.

don't they still have verizon customized status bars? I'm so happy that i don't have to see any red bars (i even flashed my v3c to get rid of the red bar) but the custom verizon bar is still making me mad. i recently got a glyde and it still has that bar with HUGE ev-do and 1x bars and indicators.

when would i be able to see original bars on verizon handsets?

Yeah, I guess its kind of the replacement for the Flipshot (although tha'ts Samsung). If they can manage to squeeze a 2.8 inch or 3 inch screen into it, it could be a great phone.

Hopefully it will take nice sharp photos, not just bigger ones.

True. I think people forget that more megapixels doesn't always equal better quality pictures.
