BB pearl 8220 and Touch Diamond info STRAIGHT FROM ROGERS!! (pics too)
well heres some info i found about the diamond and the pearl 8220, in a magazine that rogers sends out to their customers. maybe itll give some info to people, but maybe its already widely known and im way behind everyone else.
also, touch diamond is going to be 599.99 no contract.
I hope they change the back. Apparently, it doesn't lie completely flat with the diamond cut back. I find I often use my Touch while laying on a desk surface. Already it's a little wobbly when I use the stylus on the left part of the screen due to the ring around the camera on the back.

I got this Urmagazine too, but confused me that the 8220 is 3G or not? From the screen of the 8220 on the magazine page, it shows 3G , but then the "network" never mention HSDPA , only GSM/GPRS/EDGE. And ask the store stuff, he said it is 3G, I know they are always wrong, but from the screen,

I was waiting for this phone but I think I'll wait a bit more for the Xperia X1a.
I don't think so it has the Camera. I have the North American Diamond and there is no front Camera. They are probly jus' using promo pics of the Euro Diamond...

Could also be that Rogers decided to get the version with the front facing camera to get more people using video calling.

I doubt it... Rogers doesn't sell enough HTC to warrant them making a special one just for Canada... There are two GSM Diamonds. The Euro (Slim) Version and the North American Version (with extended battery). The NA version is the one sold at Best Buy Mobile (US only) and the one that I currently own. Add onto that the fact that I have not heard anything about a front camera. I would be surprised if it did...
