Indeed, not bad at all, especially with the network calling. Too bad these plans can't apply to gray market phones .

Or to Ambassadors... <Sigh>

I'm thinking I should just go FullFido80email and buy a phone off ebay. I *really* need an upgrade and the Iphone is the only phone I'm interested in, but I'm not willing to give up my Ambassador status!

Peace

Is it just me or that the Rogers plans are so much better? (My5 vs network calling). My5 also includes umlimited SMS between 5 people.

I guess this doesn't really matter to me or those of us who have better retention offers & 6GB of data.

Wirelessly posted (Brian's Crackberry: BlackBerry9000/4.6.0.150 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)

Rogers gives you a choice of either UNC or MY5. Since fido doesn't have my 5 to begin they are unable to offer it. We have per second billing and earlier evenings though

So when these 'New' plans take effect on October 1st will the iphone handset cost still be $199 (8gb) and $299 (16gb)?

Question: Is CallerID included in the plan, if not, doesn't Visual Voice Mail requires CallerID enabled on the service?
Thanks

Sounds interesting. I have the 17.50 plan with the $11 value pack and plan on signing up the $30 1-gig plan. I might just go with the $60 plan you list here for the network calling.

One question though...I had to pay 350 for my 16GB iphone because I signed up with the 17.50 plan last month. If I switch to this plan, would they credit me back that $50+tax?

I doubt it since you already have the phone but no harm in trying

Not bad, but unlimited texting would seal the deal.

I'm not sure how VM will display the info w/o caller ID but it does not require it...it would likely show UNKNOWN NUMBER and you could still play it.

CID is not included
