Hmmm
if you guys see there's a setting for "Home Button" and "International" which is not present in the current firmware...
Maybe they will update the home button to work like iPod Touch... if you press it twice, there's Music Controls pop up in the middle of the screen

It's gotta be coming real soon, assuming it is the one that includes the iTunes WiFi Store. Now that the Touch is showing up in stores, iTunes Wireless has to be going live pretty soon here.

International will (hopefully) allow Japanese IME, which is what I have been hoping for... Among other things of course. I just may forgive Uncle Steve in the near future.

It's probably more likely that "international" is some feature that disables EDGE for international roaming and only permits data usage through WiFi. The bad press from those multi-thousand dollar phone bills is not good, and I would HOPE that they address this.

I completely agree, I'm really hoping that the next firmware update brings other IME's (especially Japanese) to the iPhone. With the Touch coming out real soon in these other locations, they have to have some form of IME already put together.

It would be weird to go through all that effort to fake a Home Button menu option and come up with a version number as allegedly arbitrary as "1.1.1 (3B13)" and the modem firmware version (can you say RELOCKED?) at "04.02.04_G."

Also, it's not just 1.0.3 or 1.0.x... which hopefully means it's a pretty substantial update. Usually third-tier version number increments indicate minor bug fixes or very inconspicuous updates, but a second-tier version number (1.x) would likely mean it's pretty big and/or noticable. What's big? Besides iTunes Wi-Fi Store, here's hoping for Adobe Flash, MMS, Safari plug-ins (can you say LogMeIn or Saft), Remote Desktop or VNC, Cut and Paste.

Why you really want allot. Flash would help allot of browsing but I don't see MMS coming.

If only we could be so lucky to get a Flash update... I don't honestly see that happening but I'd love to be wrong!
