So I got the USB flashing cable from phantomgsm in UK. Loaded the drivers they posted on their site. All is OK so far. It is assigned COM3.
I set the COM Speed to 115200 in hardware device manager.
I run the SGH Flasher/Dumper program as some adviced on this forum. I set the speed to 115200 as well and COM3.
I connect the phone ( while OFF ). Press power button once, and it actually opens port and starts initailizing the phone. ( It works sometimes and sometime I have to remove battery and repeat ).
When its initialized, I start dumping my T809 entire flash.
The problem I am having is that within a minute and after it seems to be woking OK, I get a Communication Timeout error and it stops !!
Questions:
Any other settings on the COM port I should be setting? ( remeber I am using a USB emulating a serial port ).
The COM port max speed setting is 128000, but I read some people running at much faster speeds, is that possible and how ?
