1. Small sexy form factor.
2. More RAM
3. Half decent camera. Way better than the Bold.
4. Optical track pad. Good riddance track ball!!!
5. Sleek new OS.
6. Faster OS with bells and whistles.
7. Unreal, I mean Unreal, I mean seriously Unreal battery life.
8. Higher resolution screen.
This upgrade is a no brainer!!!!
That sounds good. Can't wait to get one (Rogers is out of stock).
Quick question though, have you got Google Sync running on the 9700? That's the one app that's crucial for me and I'm not sure if it'll have any issues on OS 5.

Yes, yes and yes!!! Double!! The Bold 9000 is a battery pig! The Bold 9700 sips the power while the 9700 is a guzzler. It is that noticeable. I am glad I switched!
Wait a sec, is that like T9 where it makes suggestions for you as you type therefore not having you to type out the entire word?!?!?
Yup, that's what it is. Its accurate in "predicting" the word most of the times, but it could be annoying because of all the different words (suggestions) that appear while you type out the word. Overall, it helps though.

OK, thanks. I hope they bring this to the old Bold folks with OS 5.0.

^ i was surprised that this phone even had that feature. I love it, i will agree that battery life on this phone is insane. I've been using my about a medium, and i'm at 26 hours, and still have 50% left. I'm very very impressed. Plus I'm in a full 3G coverage, with my brightness at 100%.
