Yeah. Like mentioned, the SIM card is for access to the TELUS network while abroad. It also came with my Blackberry 8830 and I used it (seldom) when I was in Europe last summer, but mostly I was using a European SIM card based in France as I hopped around different countries. So the SIM will be good to access TELUS info (check voice mail) from many countries abroad, and if you're really rich, you can stay on the network and pay a million dollars roaming.

1 GB MicroSD ?? Dang. I have absolutely no use for that, I already have a 2GB and an 8GB ... always nice to have spare memory around, I guess.. lol

$599 is alright non-contract. Just a question then about whether or not to get the extended warranty.

Whoohooo. Do we know the date yet?

Nice, $549 no contract is definitely not bad for the TP2.

Time to see if anyone will take my Omnia...

somehow ive been living on the same 512 card for FOUR YEARS so im happy that i get a free gig! lol (im lazy and cheap)

Their (cms) doesn't include expire dates, only modified. Went thought the dom and net with firebug too...
i really cant believe i did that... but i did go though the whole site and no way to see dates. not even on their other servers. Thought i was onto something, but then i realized thats when my cookies expire. Even that i really wouldn't wanna bring up cuz it seemed flaky. And their image path on their assets are insane. easy to figure out but dumb dumb dumb.

wait... thought of something i didnt try. Found the last few promos this way.

be back soon. (it like 2:15, i need this phone like a junkie needs a hit)

I haven't been following any of these phones closely, but I would think that means they are all "world" (international roaming capable) phones. They've got the Telus GSM roaming SIM in the box in case you want to travel and use your existing Telus number.

Definitely a nice find though milfette

is it also possible to use a local international sim card with this phone.

say, if i go to china on vacation; can i use a local sim from there to avoid costly roaming charges? will this phone be unlocked to use these? i assume a world phone would be right?
