    Verizon USPS discount

I'm looking to use my dad's USPS discount for new service. This site that lists the different discounts says that USPS employees get 40%-100% off phone/handsets, however when i tried to access the site, they didn't show any discounts off of handsets. Can anyone confirm whether or not USPS employees get a discount on phones? Here is the site : Verizon USPS Discount

Did you go to the linked VZW page from your USPS site??

Select new service and a plan to view the discounted phones. The 3589i and the v60s is free, and other phones are discounted.

And the answer is as far as I have heard they will require proof of employment or something after signing up, and then force you to pay the regular charges after lying to and ripping off Verizon Wireless.

When I signed up to have the discount applied to my existing account, I had to fax them a copy of my Postal photo ID. I have heard that when signing up for new service/phones they verify with HR before completing the order.
