Question Question about the new Net10 buy a simcard deal..

So I might buy the LG Thrill 4g from AT&T unlocked and I'm planning to use Net10's new "Bring Your Own Phone" service. You know, the one where it lets you buy a sim card and put it into any compatible phone. (I'm on the $50 unlimited plan for Net10 on my current Android)

    So my questions are:
-Will it work with the Thrill 4g?
-Will I be able to use the 4g?
-If not, can I use 3g?

If anyone can answer these then it would be great. Thanks

Yes it will work just as if on AT&T. You can gain more Information on the Straight Talk forum, which is another division of Tracfone. The NT and ST SIM`s are identical, the ST airtime is $45/30 days.

NOOB QUESTION: On the picture of the LG Thrill 4g, it shows like a camera thing on the front near the edge of the screen. Is that the camera that is used for stuff like webcamming? Sorry for this noob question, but all of the reviews I've read about this phone mention nothing about the camera at the front of the phone.

Wait so I just called Net10 and asked the question about the 4g and 3g.. They said no. Can anyone verify that has experience with the bring your own phone deal?

You will get 4G if: 1-the phone has the correct 4G frequencies to match the SIM`s provider (AT&T and T-Mobile use different data frequencies) unlocking does not add missing frequencies. 2- the SIM provider broadcasts 4G in your area. 3-you are within range of a tower. 4-the tower is not constantly overloaded with users and is functioning properly. You will NOT get 4G LTE with Trac BYOD SIMs.

You will only get "4G" if its the HSPA+ flavor. You won't get actual LTE 4G.
