The Official Samsung Alias2 SCH-U750 Pre-release Thread
Don't see any posts dedicated to this yet so I figured I'd start.
A Samsung SCH-U750 just passed the FCC this past Friday, which is most certainly a VZW phone and sounds like it could be a replacement for the aging Samsung SCH-U740 "Alias", which as of this Feb will have been out for 2 years.
Does anyone have any more info on this device? Anything at all?

Got some quick info on this phone. Will still be the same dual flip design as the u740 but the keys will be like mini screens (described like mini projectors) so there will be a number pad displayed on the bottom portion of the phone when opened to call and when opened to text there will be letters displayed. Keys will be I BELIEVE white with black lettering if I remember correctly as that is all that the technology will allow so no green send or red end buttons. As the technology advances it will allow colors.

I wonder if this is like the Maximus keyboards for computers that I don't think ever came out...
This sounds awesome! I have always had the idea of having the numbers change depending on which way you open the phone. This sounds like the perfect phone for me!! Im sure it will not come out like most phones I like though. Any idea of release date or if it definitely going to be released?
Ooh, I can't wait for this. I got my Alias and was already thinking of the next phone I would get 20 months later. I was hoping they would come out with an Alias 2. But I might not end up liking it. Hopefully I do. But there are other phones out there besides the u750 I'm looking at right now, considering it's not out yet and you can't go play with it like the other phone I'm looking at (Versa)
